CHARDONNAY "CLOS DU CIEL" 2013

LONGRIDGE

The winemaking process follows biodynamic practices using native yeasts and no clarifications.

Refined for 12 months in French oak barrels and bottled without any filtration or clarification, it rests for one whole year in bottles before being commercialized.

Planted 30 years ago by John Platter at the top of the slopes of Mount Helderberg, this extraordinarily qualitative vineyard is classified by its owner as a "grand cru".

Its soils made up of decomposed granite, the breezes coming from the Atlantic Ocean, the high-density plantations and certain determinate cultivation choices create the perfect conditions for a great wine.

All operations are carried out manually and in compliance with biodynamic practices. Harvesting takes place manually: only the smallest fruits are selected and hand-picked.

A majestic, elegant and subtle wine, a deluxe champion of great personality.
